At Groundstone Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Virginia (GSBJJVA), we proudly serve Southwest Virginia as a sub-affiliate of Groundstone BJJ Headquarters in Sneads Ferry, North Carolina. As members of the Fredson Paixao Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Association, we follow the promotion standards set by the IBJJF to ensure the highest level of training and integrity.
Our memberships are designed to welcome students of all backgrounds and experience levels. Whether you are training for self-defense, competition, fitness, or personal growth, we offer a supportive community and professional instruction to help you reach your goals.
Our program is led by Coach Phil Haly, a Brown Belt under Professor Tulsa Simpson, with over 16 years of teaching and coaching experience. His leadership ensures a safe, structured, and motivating environment for every student who steps onto the mat.
